Wonder Medication for Abnormal Perspiration

Excessive perspiration is one of the most common problems faced by millions. This disorder is often overlooked by many but the realization dawns after some disappointing or bitter experience. Such unsuccessful instances have deterred quite a number of affected people to undergo surgical treatment. In comparison to these methods, the use of type A Botulinium toxin is advisable. Produced by the Clostridium bacteria, this toxin is injected to cure the problem of excessive sweating. Botox works wonders to control excess sweat by disabling the sweat glands. The drug is directly injected into epidermis thus blocking the stimuli from the sympathetic nerves.

Botox works effectively at the areas of injection. For instance, botox injection is given at twenty areas in the armpits. The underarm sweat control treatment via botox has even been approved by US Food & Drug Administration (FDA). The frequency of botox injection varies between 4 to 9 months, depending on the areas injected.
